Ridden by Jason Maskiell, the 2yo son of Brazen Beau was untroubled to defeat the Inference gelding Remunda by two lengths with the Zebedee filly Piiink Beauty a half-neck back in third.

Owned by Wayne Roser, Bello Beau broke his maiden over the same track and distance on December 29.

Bred by Enak Pty Ltd, Bello Beau was consigned by Supreme Thoroughbreds to the 2021 Inglis Melbourne Premier Yearling Sale, with Roser signing the ticket for $70,000.

He is the seventh winner for the stakes-placed Flying Spur mare Bella Princess.

Bello Beau a $70,000 Inglis Premier yearling

Purchased for $55,000 at the 2013 Inglis August Thoroughbred Sale, Bella Princess is a half-sister to Group II winner Ten Gun Salute and Group III winner Red Typhoon. She is out of the dual Listed stakes winner and Group 1 South Australian Oaks runner-up Ladybird Blue (Bluebird).

Bello Beau becomes the 16th stakes-winner for Darley Stud’s Brazen Beau, who stood for an advertised fee of $49,500 in 2021.
